About EasyForest (KALPAVRIKSHA)
Afforestation, made easy
Started by two computer engineers from Tamil Nadu, EasyForest blends the Miyawaki method with ancient Indian principles to grow fast, self-sustaining native forests.
Our story
EasyForest was founded by Ramachandran S, co-founder and chief, and Karvendhan G, co-founder and head of operations: two computer engineers who wanted afforestation to be simple for everyone who owns a piece of land.
In 2019 we planted the first dense forest in Chennai with Greater Chennai Corporation: 2,500+ saplings in Kotturpuram. The same year, Salem Corporation set up urban forests with us under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan.
Since then our forests have grown across 15 districts. Today we plant dense forests, Sacred Forests (Pavithra Vana) and sustainable farms for governments, hospitals, industries, temples and families.
